These are my raw feelings about writing on Medium

Last year I wrote a story that highlighted the importance of writing really great titles for your stories on Medium. And that insight is as true today as it was a year ago.

The problem that I ran into — is that I didn’t follow my own advice.

What else is new?

I know that you need to write a title that grabs readers attention, but I was honestly scared to be bold on Medium.

But what was I afraid of?

No, seriously — what was I afraid of.

I don’t know any of you — and none of you know who the heck I am.

And this is social media — a made up, fictitious place where we all congregate.

As Franklin Delano Roosevelt once famously said, “there is nothing to fear, except fear itself.”

And that is so true, especially on Medium.

Since October 7th — the amount of Anti-Semitic hate that I have received is overwhelming. Most people on Medium have no idea how many bot accounts there are on Medium (like X, formerly known as Twitter).

And most of those bot accounts were created for the sole purpose of posting links to made up and…
