Success is One Lesson Plan Away
Learn the Five Steps that Will Give You More Control
If you are searching for solutions and things you need to learn, in order to be more successful in the 21st century, then you hit the jackpot.
I was challenged by Teachers on Twitter to prove why schools are failing, why teachers are misinformed, and why 99% of our population only owns 10% of the wealth.
After months of trying to explain my 20 years of experience and research, I decided to act like a teacher and I wrote a success lesson plan. That’s right, I decided to become America’s 21st century teacher.
If you want to learn “HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL?” Why not make a course that teaches people what they need to do?
And the best part, the Success Lesson Plan is FREE. If you want to read it, just follow this link:
Background Information
If you’re curious about how I wrote this lesson plan, let me give you some background information. The first thing you need to know is that this lesson plan is based on groundbreaking research from Georgetown University.
In 2020, they released a study that proved why a small percentage of our population gets the highest paying jobs. That’s right, they proved it scientifically and mathematically.
This research study opened my eyes and led me to a real epiphany.
What I realized is that high schools and colleges are not just teaching OLD ideas and concepts, but they are NOT focused on helping people be successful in the 21st century.
The purpose of school is to teach people what they need to know. Let’s be real for a second, learning how to read Shakespeare and studying historical facts is NOT what you need to know.
The cold hard truth is that you need to know “How to be Successful.”
Reading Shakespeare and doing math problems COULD be helpful, except that the assignments you received were all 2D learning, and what you really need is 3D learning.
The dimension that is missing from your education is “WHY?”
Leaf Academy
It makes me angry to admit that our entire educational system has been hijacked by a toxic culture. But it’s the truth. The toxic system forces teachers to live in fear and anxiety on a daily basis. That’s why teachers are exhausted, angry and defensive all the time.
The toxic system makes them defend themselves when the reality is — teachers didn’t design the system in the first place. What we want to believe is that someone MUST be in charge of our schools? But the reality is that no one is in charge. The entire school system, from K12 to college is on auto-pilot and being run by a toxic culture.
If that makes you scared to think about, how do you think I feel? I’m a recognized expert educator. Teachers, Principals and Superintendents ask my advice about curriculum, teacher training techniques and also how to boost student achievement. They don’t like hearing that they are not in charge of what they THINK they are in charge of.
We all see the outcome of the toxic culture. We all see the results. To be frank, they suck!
The income gap has increased. The Achievement Gap has increased. The polarization of our society has gotten deeper and more angry. It seems America is falling apart at the seams. We have become a House of Cards.
What’s the solution?
I decided to launch Leaf Academy, as a temporary fix to the problem. In 2021 Leaf Academy became the first online school for 21st century skills in America.
This school is open to the public. That means anyone can learn the five research based 21st century skills. It’s truly open enrollment.
I got the nickname “The School Doc” because I have a reputation of diagnosing school problems.
And my diagnosis of this situation is that the only way to be more successful in the 21st century is to learn the five essential skills.
When you read the Success Lesson Plan you will begin to see the path for success. And it’s important to SEE THE PATH!
Teaching Success
In 2011, I became one of the first superintendents in America to adopt a 21st century skills curriculum. The reason that’s important is because teaching a 21st century skills curriculum means teaching success.
What the toxic culture wants you to believe is that learning English, Math, Science and Social studies is what you need to know. But that’s not accurate, at least not in the 21st century.
The truth is that you need to learn HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL.
Can you see the difference?
If you want to be a doctor, then you need to learn 21st century leadership and problem solving skills, in addition to advanced math and science.
But what if you don’t know what you want to do with your life?
Here’s the cold hard truth. The toxic culture is graduating high school students who don’t know what they want to do. They have no path in life. The toxic culture then convinces students that going to college will SOLVE that problem for them. But if you graduated from college, you know that’s not the truth.
Going to college does not help you figure out your life.
So what’s missing?
The answer is 21st century leadership skills. What turned my students lives around, the reason that the NJ State Legislature asked me to provide them with expert testimony and the reason that the Newark School System, the Jersey City school system, the West New York school system and countless others wanted to know how my students were more successful than any other students in NJ was because we were teaching them 21st century skills. In other words, we were teaching them how to be successful in life.
21st Century Leadership Skills
Right now, schools do not teach 21st century leadership skills. The reason I know that is because I have seen the curriculum maps of thousands of school districts.
Here’s what you need to know. When I adopted a 21st century skills curriculum, the first skill we needed to teach our students was leadership skills. But you can’t teach leadership by reading about it. You can’t teach leadership by studying history.
The most effective way to teach 21st century leadership skills is to teach The 6 Objectives of Leadership. If you’re curious about the six objectives, then go to Leaf Academy and watch the two FREE Webinars.
If you register for the 21st Century Beginner Leadership 101 Course, you will learn all six objectives. But the first objective you learn in that course is how to develop your vision. And this is the key to all success in the 21st century.
The reason that high school students are lost is because they don’t have a path in life. If you graduated from college wondering what job you should take or what you should do? The reason is because you never learned how to develop your vision in school.
My vision is to teach people 21st century skills. My vision is to help people learn how they can pursue their individual dreams. Isn’t that a great vision and purpose for my life? Here’s the problem. Not everyone agrees with my vision.
That’s right, I want to help you be more successful, but there are people in our society who want me to quit and give up. Are there people in your life that like to influence you? Do you hear people tell you what you should and should not do?
The reality is that unless you develop your vision, unless you find your path in life, you will always listen to those voices. You will never be empowered and you will never follow your own dreams.
If you want to know what 21st century leadership looks like — that’s the vision.
Do you have a dream?
I believe you have the right to pursue your dreams, the problem is that you need to learn how. If you want to develop your vision and find your path in life, register for the 21st century Beginner Leadership 101 course at Leaf Academy.
The First Step
What’s the solution?
I wrote the Success Lesson Plan because it’s the simplest and easiest way to explain what you need to know. From there, the easiest way to show you how to be successful is to teach you 21st century leadership skills.
Once you develop your vision and create a path to follow, your entire life will come into focus. You will stop making bad decisions. You will stop feeling lost and scared all the time.
If you’re struggling with money, that will be a temporary situation. If you’re unhappy with your job, your life or your future, this course will answer your questions.
The first step is reading the Success Lesson Plan. The second step is registering for the 21st Century Beginner Leadership 101 Course. The third step is telling your friends and family about Leaf Academy.
You need to take control over your future. You have to stop waiting around for someone else to help you. The inconvenient truth is that no one is coming to help you. You are on your own. You went to school for 12 years and then you were dumped on your ass, with the wrong education and no direction in life.
It’s time to roll up your sleeves and find your path.
Hope to see you at Leaf Academy!
