The Entrepreneur’s Roadmap

A New Publication to Help People Trying to Navigate the Road of Entrepreneurship

A few months ago, I decided to start my own publication on Medium. It’s called the Entrepreneur’s Roadmap and it’s designed to help anyone seeking to start their own business, side-hustle or just learn about entrepreneurial skills.

Where Do You Begin?

For the last 20 years, I have been an educator. I started my career in the classroom as a teacher, then worked my way up the education ladder to principal and finally Superintendent.

My role was always in helping teachers, principals, parents and students understand what they needed to know — so they could go out on their own and pursue their dreams.

That’s a much different role — then being an entrepreneur.

And it can be very scary to first start out on this journey.

So the first question everyone asks me is, “where do I begin?”

Follow the Roadmap

I highly recommend you follow this link — the Entrepreneur’s Roadmap.

And become a regular follower of the new publication. Right now there are only 6 articles, but they are key lessons that you need to learn, such as:

The First Step to Becoming an Entrepreneur

From Idea to Startup

17 Things You Need to Launch an Online Business

5 Skills Every Entrepreneur Must Master

Let’s Take this Journey Together

I don’t want you to feel like you’re alone on this journey. In fact, that’s the reason I started the publication. I want you to ask questions. I want you to share what you’re doing and where you are in your journey.

I know that every one else on social media only wants to hear about your successes, but to be quite honest with you — I love hearing about mistakes and failures more.

I want to know what you’re struggling with. I want to know what obstacles you are facing that seem overwhelming or insurmountable.

Maybe it has to do with being an educator for the last 20 years, but I have more fun helping people overcome challenges than I do celebrating the victory at the end.

I kind of feel — you should celebrate your successes with people who love you and know you better. When you succeed, I’m just happy that you’re no longer feeling stressed out, worried or anxious.

Call me crazy — but I just want more people to reach their finish lines.

I hope you enjoy the articles in the Entrepreneur’s Roadmap and don’t forget to ask questions and leave feedback on each article. If there’s one question that you wish I could answer for you — let me know.
