What Do Claps, Reads, Responses, and Earnings Mean??

I know that Medium wants to fix its website, so that it’s still relevant in 2024, but something isn’t working anymore. So what I want to do is show you some data from my account.

Now before you see this data, you should know that I’ve been writing on Medium since 2020. I have written over 300 articles. And I have never once been boosted, therefore all of this data is truly organic.

This is my most successful article to date, in terms of earning revenue. Yes, $1.03 total. But what I want you to notice is the other metrics. This article has 0 claps and 0 responses.

Am I missing something?

When I click in to see the underlying data, I can see that it has 180 views and 92 reads. For me that’s really good stats. But here’s where I get confused.
