If you meet someone, who doesn’t know you, how do you introduce yourself for the first time?

It’s an interesting question, which I didn’t consider the first time I wrote the “Who is Professor Schwartz” story a few months ago. But maybe I should have.

The problem is that my life has changed dramatically from when I wrote that original story to now. And if you haven’t been following my social media journey — on December 26th I wrote my first viral article ever.

Yes, one of the articles I wrote on Medium, literally went to the moon and beyond.

A Perspective Shift

I really had no idea how that one event would change my entire perspective on social media and also my interactions with it. But going viral has profoundly changed how I see social media and my place in it.

So here’s how it changed my perspective.

Before going viral — I was fighting to get attention. Before that article I had 135 subscribers and I was completely unknown. And here’s the issue — I’m not completely unknown in real life. I was just anonymous and invisible online. And that’s very difficult to reconcile when you say something to people in the real world — and they react one way — and then you say the same exact thing online — and social media reacts completely different.

What’s difficult to realize is that’s how social media works. It’s not real. In fact, I can publish an article on social media that is based on 20 years of academic research and one anonymous user will say, “this is rubbish” and everyone else on social media jumps on that band wagon.

But after I went viral — I am closing in on 400 subscribers — I no longer feel the need to fight with anonymous people online anymore. And it’s a good feeling.

And I no longer feel the need to argue with people online simply because I know that’s not my job. And it’s not your job either.

The Real Me

It’s funny to me, that I have to write a subheading that says, “The Real Me” since I’ve been nothing but honest in my stories. The problem is when you go on social media — there are people on here who want to create their own narrative about you and they want other people to believe that narrative.

I may not be a boomer, but I sure acted like one.

The truth is after I went viral — I realize it’s a waste of my time to argue with morons on social media. And I hope you can learn from mistakes.

My job and your job is not to police the internet. If you go on social media, stop thinking it’s your job to report misinformation or to “counter” false narratives — please stop. That’s not your job. And its a real waste of your gifts and talents.

I would much rather you spend your valuable time working on your own personal projects and pursuing your dreams. And so here is the real me.

  • I’m a 21st century skills expert
  • I’m a recognized K12 expert
  • And I care about the future of America and the world

So what do all three of those things have in common?

And the answer is our country and our world cannot improve, unless we stop fooling around and start providing citizens with a real 21st century education.

My Mission in Life

I don’t know if you have a mission in life. I don’t know if you’re aware of your calling or purpose in life. But the truth is that every single human being has a purpose in life.

Even if you don’t believe in g-d or believe in organized religion — there is a reason you are on this earth. And so its your job to figure out what that reason is.

I found my purpose.

I’m really good at teaching people what they “NEED” to know. I’m also really good at calling “bullshit” on society. When you combine those two things together — you get me. An honest, no nonsense educator who doesn’t shy away from telling “intellectual elites” they are full of crap.

Some people can’t stand that approach, while others appreciate it. Before I went viral, the problem I ran into was that I was only seeing the people who couldn’t stand me. And when you only see negativity on social media, you start to get a very warped view of the world and social media in general.

But that perspective isn’t real. It’s fake.

The truth is social media isn’t full of “haters” and morons, but those are the only people who spend 15 hours per day on social media.

Therefore, when you have a small following — you’re not reaching the honest, smart and hard working people in the world. And before I went viral — I wasn’t reaching them either.

Showing the World a 21st Century Education

If my mission in life is to help people find their purpose and pursue their dreams — then I need to start showing people what a 21st century education looks like.

So I’m excited to show you the first 21st century course in K12 education today. It’s called “The 28 Days of Black History” and it’s a groundbreaking course that will forever change the landscape of education in America.

Seeing is believing, which is why Leaf Academy is giving the cutting-edge 21st century curriculum map away for FREE! So if you want to see what the buzz is all about — just follow the link above and download your FREE curriculum map.

Find Your Purpose

The minute you find your purpose in life — you no longer worry about distractions. That’s because everything comes into focus for you.

Would you like to have focus in life?

If you’re not an educator or principal — you won’t want to download the free curriculum map. But you will want to know why this map is so different? What makes this course so much better than all other courses?

And the answer is — this is the first course that is designed based on 21st century academic research. And all the world’s leading experts know one thing — that 21st century learners need cross-curricular learning experiences.

For the non-educator — what that means in simple English is that this course was designed specifically to be taught by both English and Social Studies teachers together or separately.

What most people don’t realize is that every single class in our K12 system was designed to be taught by one teacher in one subject. And that’s the opposite of what 21st century learners need.

Therefore, when you hear stories of students falling asleep in class, or not participating, or refusing to go to school — the problem isn’t the students or the teachers. The problem is the courses we are forcing 21st century kids to take.

Now here’s why that’s important for you to know.

If you feel lost, confused or without a direction in life — that’s not because there’s something wrong with you. No, the real problem was the classes you took in school didn’t meet your needs in the 21st century.

And so what I want to do is start showing people how a 21st century education can meet your needs right now! Yes, when you receive a real 21st century education — you will no longer feel like you don’t know what you’re doing anymore.

  • How would you like to feel in more control over your future?
  • How would you like to feel less lost in life?
  • How would you like to feel like your following the right path?

If I hadn’t done the academic research. And if I hadn’t developed the first 21st century skills curriculum in the world. And if I hadn’t taught my teaching staff how to teach these cutting-edge courses. And if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes — how students who came from the lowest socio-economic situations in America overcame every single odd and obstacle placed in front of them.

Then I would tell you — there’s no advantage to a 21st century education.

But the truth is that I did see it. The truth is that I did witness kids who graduated from college become successful entrepreneurs at the age of 23, without any money, connections or taking a single college class.

And so my message to you is — if they can do it — so can you!

Follow If You Want to Find Your Calling

Nothing would make me happier if all of my followers were good people. Therefore, if everyone on my subscriber list was an honest and hard working person, it would make me smile from ear to ear.

I don’t care where you were born, how much money you have, what religion you practice or what you look like. All I care about is if you want to figure out your purpose in life and follow your dreams.

When I was in my 20s, I didn’t realize how our time on earth was really limited, but now that I’m double that age — I recognize that we don’t have a lot of time to help people.

Leave a Comment:

  • Do you know what your calling in life is? If so, what is it?
  • Do you want to find your calling? What have you done so far to figure it out?
  • Are you happy with your life? If not, why? What’s holding you back?
  • Do you want a 21st century education? If yes, what would you do with it? In other words, what does your dream life in the future look like?

From this point forward, I’m building an online presence that helps people go after their most intense dreams. The thing that everyone else around you says, “you can’t do.”

Maybe you’ll succeed or maybe you’ll fail — but in the end — you will have zero regrets chasing your dreams, instead of catering to the “safety” of what other people want you to do.

Yes, its scary and yes you will feel like you’re walking a tight-rope 100 feet above the ground — but I promise I’ll try to answer all of your questions, based on the 20+ years of academic research and experience that I have.

Thank you for reading my stories — and thank you for subscribing. Hope to hear from you real soon.
